Claude Closky has been broadcasting his daily web series “The Confinement” since the beginning of April. It lies at the crossroads of a television sitcom and a short film.
The series focuses on the exchanges between the occupants of a same apartment, confined together for what seems like an eternity. Each episode takes place in a different dwelling. The viewer follows the litanies of characters who rehash their anxieties and somber mind-sets, but also their love for each other. Off screen the current crisis is perceptible, distorted by fiction to the point of absurdity.
